When my LNS went out of business I scooped up a lot of Thread Gatherers's thread @ 50% off....what fantabulous stitcher wouldn't? Then I got the idea to do a study in color. What would the thread called Peacock look like on different fabrics and how pretty would Plum Honey look on different ones. Well I started out and 10 stitches later this is what came from my fingers....
Ten - count 'em - 10 pin cushions!
And 6 pieces using the Peacock floss....
These were really fun to do. Even though it was 10 times of the same pattern I had 10 times the fun!!

How fun! They look great! :)
Oh my gosh, I can't believe you did those 10 times! But you know, they all look wonderful. You'll have pincushions for every room in the house!
No--Thank you Sister Cari
I was the lucky recepient of a lovely "study in color" pin cushion. It looks fabulous on Mom's sofa table with a darling violet tea cup, framed small bush stitching and an ecru doilie.
Now the display looks like Miss Cathy's display and "study in color". Looks like something from Blackbird Designs. We are so blessed
OH these are ten time...PRICELESS!! What a great idea!!
Wow! What fun this is to see! I love Thread Gatherer fibers -- you were lucky to get them on sale! I love all 10 pincushions!
That is awesome!! I love your creativity!!
Cari! They are darling!!! Way too cute! I love the one on the Irish Cream but I think they're all fabulous. Love your hearts and pins and other decorations on them! Bet they look gorgeous all nestled together!
Wow! These are fabulous! I just adore the ones with the blanket stitched finishing.
oh these are such so pretty, what fun that must have been to do. Great job.
Mmmmmm...yummy! I have one too and I LOVE it! Thanks Miss Cari for giving me one!

Girls! I just want you to know that what Cari did not tell you was that she stole those threads right out of my hands! Yes! Our cs store was closing and I got there first on sale day but somehow Cari left with MY THREADS in her bag! Lets take a vote....shouldn't I get one of those lovely pincushions? Cherie (Chick)
