As you can see I've been punching away. It's so much fun although my wrist is just about done!! Getting ready to hang the Christmas ones in the family room and all the others in my sewing room. Happy Punching!!
Bought two 4-bar hangers for $7. Took fabric out of project, refolded and carefully stapled fabric to pattern/project package. Here are 24 complete stitching projects (front and back views) taking up the closet space of 2 dresses. Throw the dresses out and bring on the stash organization!!!
Remember - I told you I'd find that lizard!! He out witted himself! Jaxon didn't get to eat him but he dried out!! Found him by the piano in the Living Room. I actually think one of the cats found him in the Sewing Room and brought him out. But a dead lizard is NO FUN!!
On Saturday we went to Gardner's Village for some shopping. Little did I know they would let me catch our lunch as well. I took along their black cat and a little TNT to help!! Aren't we simply DARLING!!
We went to see Jill and this is just one of the treasures she had for me!! I just had to have a pic of both of us!! Jill is all dressed up for the Shepherd's Bush Retreat - 2008 party!! She is just simply OVER THE TOP and I love her to pieces!!
Here's a fun finish! Into the Nite by Shepherd's Bush. I have so many fun Halloween stitches. Think it has anything to do with the fact I visit my sisters in Utah every fall? I think next year I should go in the Spring!!
She's off to Chicago!! Brent and Corinne left for Chicago early this morning. I didn't look at the clock all night long. When I woke up this morning and rolled over it was 6:43 a.m. - they departed 3 minutes ago! Whew!! This will be a busy and emotional weekend for all of us, especially for Daddy when he has to get on the plane all alone Monday evening, leaving his sweet little girl at college. I am so very proud of Corinne and her parents, Brent and Barb. They have all done a wonderful job!!
Jaxon after a lizard -- and I mean -- after a lizard. He had so much fun!! Jaxon is on top of my china cabinet. The last time I saw the lizard he was in my sewing room. I guess I'll find him all crispy one day!
Here are my latest two finishes for the Blackbird Designs Loose Feathers Series. The one with the house is called Blessings and Kind Wishes. It was so much fun to stitch. The other one is a mystery bonus sampler. Motifs are from two earlier designs, (posted on this blog), stitched on separate pieces of linen, and then sewn together!! Way too much fun.
I challenged myself to complete Queen Cari's sewing bag and chatelaine before I started one more project. Cathy and I stitched like crazy last year to complete all the cross stitch. Last October we finished the sewing bag together! It was fun. I just needed to finish up the chatelaine and I DID IT. It is 'Simply Fabulous'!
I wanted to get ahead of the 2008 Loose Feathers releases. AND I DID IT! I have the first two, Where My Heart Blooms and Rites of Spring finished. The 3rd will be released on the 1st of June and I'll be ready to go.
