Everything's Coming Up Roses.....

Rosewood Manor's English Tapestry Sewing Box...that is !

Here's my progress so far.  I'm stitching this on Colorscapes 32 count color Herald, using 1 strand of silk floss over 1 thread.  I'm using Attic Needlework's silk thread combo conversion for this piece. YUMMY !!!

Below is a better representation of the fabric color including my cute needle minder.

My sister Cathy gave me the needle minder along with 2 painted tins a while ago.  This is the smaller tin (Velamints) showing from left to right, Belle, Casanova and Jaxon.  You must know by now that I enjoy stitching with my pet pals.

And my progress on AAWFAA.  I finished the snake and a couple of Big Bugs.

The weather here yesterday was wet and wild.  It's pretty calm this morning but we are expecting more wind and rain from Debby.  We need the water and it's too hot to play outside anyway.  So I guess I'll just stay inside with the pets in the A/C and S.T.I.T.C.H.  Lucky me !!  Have a simply fabulous week!

Oh I have this tapestry piece from Rosewood Manor too! Maybe seeing yours will inspire me to pick mine up -- so pretty so far! I have the Attic one too. :D I looooove your needle minder and tin! OMG, too cute!! And your AAWFAA looks great! You're really going on that one! Hope Debby treats you well -- all the forecasts for Florida are just nerve wracking!

Lucky me, too! I loved yesterday with all the rain and wind. I watched three episodes of Downtown Abbey and knit, and knit, and knit.
Stay dry today.

Your project is going to be gorgeous and I really love the color of the fabric!

What a cute needle minder and tin and such a cute way to keep your stitchin needfuls!

Hope you get some rain, but not the wind from Debby. Stay inside and stitch - I think that may be my new motto!

Hugs to you, dear friend!

What wonderful projects you are working on. That Colorscapes has some wonderful "flavors" of fabric, huh? I just love the stuff, and the Attic does a great job with their color conversions. Can't wait to see more projects.
Your sister, Joan is so cute! Love her little gifts to you.
Stay dry and cool. :) Hugs to you my fun friend!

Oh my goodness is that a beautiful project. I haven't seen that one before. I can tell the stitching that you've done that it's going to be gorgeous.

Enjoy all the stitching you'll get while it's raining. Hopefully you'll just get rain and nothing else!!
