My loves....

You all know I am head over heals in love with the Decorah eagle family...my family also knows.  Look at this fun balloon eagle the kids delivered to me one evening!

And I finished this adorable sweater for a brand spankin' new baby.  Eleanor Grace was born on 5/25 to the daughter of my dear friend Mary.  I'm so happy Mary's a GRANDmother.  Congratulations!

And on to some stitchy things.  I finished Liberty Belles, 1 over 1 on 29 ct.  Glenshee Linen.  It's a fun Memorial Day, Flag Day and 4th of July Day STITCH!!

And some WIP's.  This is Molly from CHS.

Please excuse the wrinkles...I don't like to iron until the piece is finished.  I love that cat.  It reminds me of my Pretty Belle...lookin' at me sayin'....Mommy...is there a BIRD on my head???  LOL

Hillside Sheep Needlebook by Chessie & Me.

It's stitched with Belle Soie on 32 ct. Lakeside Linen Vintage Sienna Night.  The pics are 'clickable'.  Love the french knots on the black face sheep, and the white faced sheep and goat are stitched with the Smyrna Cross.  This has been such a fun stitch.

Now a stash addition that my itchy stitchy fingers are anxious to get a hold on....  Rosewood Manor's English Sewing Box.  This piece was inspired by William Morris and I LOVE IT.  It's the carrot on my stick!!  Love the color of the linen and all the SILK floss.

Have a simply fabulous week and enjoy all your needlework time!!  I love and appreciate all of your comments!

Wow, what gorgeous colors. Those are beautiful! Everything is looking good. You've made a lot of progress it seems. Grats on the finish too. It's just the right time of year for a patriotic finish!!

Cari,
You are sure staying busy. I love the sweater, she is a lucky baby to have that as a gift, it looks so soft. Love all the needle work, you know I am amazed by all that as I can't do it at all. Hope you are relaxing and having fun, miss you,
Meredith

What a fun, fabulous post! I love your little balloon eagle; how sweet and thoughtful that was. I am watching the eagles while reading blogs and the babies are so funny - hopping around and flapping their wings. I expect that any moment they'll get airborne and just have a look like in their eyes that says, "Oh, sh*t. Here I go!"
Love the baby sweater you made - it looks so soft and sweet. What a lovely thing for you to do.
Now, normally, I am not a huge LHN fan but your over one, patriotic finish, I LOVE! Very, very pretty!
I know I'm going to forget something... oh, Molly - love the bird on the blue cat. And those sheep - love them - all the specialty stitches really bring 'em alive. YOu have accomplished a ton and have a beautiful project waiting in the wings. Can't wait to see more from your cute, fabulous self!
XOXO

Oh my gosh! I love your WIPs! Great progress on everything. Fantastic patriotic finish, too! It looks great. I love the sweater you knitted for Eleanor Grace (what a pretty name!). My friend knitted a sweater for my eldest when she was a baby and it's one of the few items of baby clothes that I just couldn't part with.

Love that eagle!! LOL
