Two weeks ago some of my best-est stitching friends, Cherie, Joan, Pink and I take a road trip to Port Charlotte to shop at The Golden Needle. We 'shopped til we dropped' and mind you, this was a week before market! Cathy's shop is wonderful and we all picked up some super stash....of course I won!
ANYWAY...we're driving home and I see this ahead...geeze....why is a 'State Trooper' pulling that trailer...full of convicts?? Drive faster Cherie...let's see what's going on!
OMG - it's not a 'trooper' it's a 'TRAPPER'!
Can you see what they trapped? Two spunky alligators. And these are just babies. Can you see the black tape around their snouts?
Only in Florida...and only on a cross stitch stash enhancement trip!

Wow! Only in Florida is right! How cool is that that you saw that! As for your stash -- isn't that funny? I always win in terms of the stash buying too! lolol! Sometimes my friend comes close -- like this last market mad adventure we had -- but I always top her. :D Glad you had fun on your stash trip! Hope you said hi to the alligators!

Well, that certainly made the drive more interesting, didn't it? Where else are you going to see something like that?
A HAHAHAHA! I love it! Ladies, what she doesn't tell you about her stash trip is the picture of the cash register when it was smokin' out the numbers of her "winnings." She took a picture of it and promptly forwarded it to me...and I was laughing my guts out. She promises to have it all set out on tables when Miss Smarty and I arrive for our vacation in 11 days. That way we can pet and drool!
