I think we have Cardinals nearly year round in Florida. I love watching them. Here are a couple of pics of Winter Cardinal that I stitched. Isn't he beautiful? The threads are just as bright as the real feathers!! But the snow....forget about it!!

Oh wow!!! Gorgeous -- love that red! Is that the piece from the new BBD book? Or something else? I love it!!! Beautiful!
What a great pattern. Dianntha
I love this project--I have it 1/2 done. Seeing yours makes me want to pick it up again!
Beautiful Cari!! Love the cardinal but you already know how I feel about the white stuff. It was doing it again this morning. Thankfully it didn't stick this time!!
I ♥ him! He's just adorable! I remember Grandma Johnson having cardinal plates, and things. :) Good memories!
Oh Cari, this is just absolutely beautiful! I am looking forward to my family of cardinals coming, that live in my backyard. They are gorgeous!!
Your cardinal looks fabulous on that color of linen, wow!
Oh, Cari! That is so gorgeous! I love the red and the branches are just fabulous! Yeah, I could live without the snow, too!
Love those vibrant colors, he is just beautiful....and you must know that snow is a "four letter" word in my book. LOL Brrrrr!!!!
It's gorgeous!
Oh my gosh, Cari!! Wow, he really is gorgeous. I love it. Lucky you, having them year round in FL. They're my favorite bird and I miss seeing them here.
Here birdie, birdie. Love the detail in the wing.
Cari I LOVE this and MUST have the pattern! What is it?! The Cardinal is the state bird of Ohio...my homestate! My husband laughs because every time I see one on our back fence I catch my breath...they're just so beautiful! And every time I see one, I can't help but think of my Dad...so they are very special to me! Such a handsome bird!
Your cardinal is fabulous! I've been absentminded in blog land and not keeping up! You've posted your heart out and I've been missing!
