God Blessed America

I've been feeling kind of blue lately about the state of our union.  I came across this pattern 'Union Forever' by Maggie Bonanomi in my recently organized stash.  I LOVE IT.  I feel a lot better now after stitching up this one!!  And, the fabric I stitched it on was Melinda Bridal White, 30 ct.  It cost me $1.09....did I buy that in my last life??  Anyway, I coffee dyed it and I think it worked up great.

Wow, a piece of fabric for $1.09. What a deal. I think your coffee dyeing looks wonderful as does your stitching!

I love it, Cari! I might need to stitch this for my office. I would have sworn it was a BBD! Great finish and fantastic job with the fabric dyeing!

So beautiful! I too am worried about the State of our Union. What a beautiful reminder of what this country stands for.
I'm looking at all of your Blackbird finishes. I love the mystery sampler. I might have to stitch that now that it's not a mystery LOL!
Found your blog on Teri's blog. Thanks for posting. It inspires me to keep stitching away!
