A Good Mix

This sweet guy showed up on my front porch.  He was so distressed with his circumstances,  he had licked his hind legs and belly clean of fur.  I posted several photo's of him around the neighborhood and not one phone call.  He was so very friendly and vocal and looking for love.  I think someone dropped this guy off or left him when they moved away.  BAD BAD BAD people.  Nonetheless, my darling granddaughter Taylor fell in love with him and took him to his new forever home!!  They are both in LOVE with each other!

Here's a pic of my progress on Mary Roe 1808 from The Scarlett House.  I love the colors of Belle Soie in this piece.  I'm now to the point that I get to start stitching the stem with 'Bahama Breeze' and 'Strawberry Shortcake' flowers.  Oh YUM for me!

And to round out this post, a picture of Carly ready to enjoy her High School prom.  She is such a darling young lady.

I'm so glad Taylor could give the kitty a good home! I hate that people dump animals. What's WRONG with them?

Your Mary Roe is looking grand and who wouldn't love to stitch with floss so deliciously named! Great work, my friend!

Carly is gorgeous!

Carly is stunning and that dress is absolutely gorgeous.

I'm glad that the kitty has a new home. You wonder why a cat with such a sweet personality was roaming around, but he's found a new home. What is better than that?

Gorgeous Carly!!! Love her dress. I just was asked to take pictures of beautiful girls last week for their prom. How wonderful to be young and lovely. And I'm so glad kitty found love...that's how we got our family cat when I was little. We found each other. Happy day.
