Been Busy Stitching and Knitting

Well it's been a while since my last post but I'm alive and well.  Here are just a few pics of 'my world'.  Life is GOOD.

Joan's darling punchneedle heart she finished and mounted on a very unique oil can.

More Blackbird Design stockings stitched.  Let's see...12 completed, 14 more stitched and 10 to go.

Can't forget my progress on Molly.  I love this cat.

And my start on 'An All Was for an Appil'.  This one has been fun.

Stash enhancement of Boris and Olga.  I'm going to stitch these on 40 count, Vintage Magnolia from Lakeside Linens.

One of Bella's Mittens I'm knitting up for my niece.

I had to get the drool rag out when this piece arrived from Attic Needlework.  It's Jean Lea's adaptation of The Garden Glade.  The colors are to DIE for!  I've already plied some thread on this one and I can't stitch fast enough.

And last but certainly not least, my darling sisters...I miss them so.  This pic is from our Sisters Stitching Retreat in Park City.  These are the gift bags we put together for all of our new friends.  We had such a fabulous time.  I think we should get together once a month!!

Happy Needlework !

Ummm, WOW. Your post makes me want to (a) run and get stitching, (b) hyperventilate, and (c) remember my resolve to spend less time on the computer. SheDANG, you have gotten so much done!! I am so impressed. All of your projects are things I'd love to do or have already started. I can't believe you have so many stockings finished! I really need to get my booklets out and get some more done. Actually, I have November's somewhere, maybe I could find that... Everything is just amazing. I am most envious (but so happy for you) at the fact that you get to share your life and love for creativity with two sisters. :)

OMG, what eye candy!!!! It's all gorgeous. I am with you on the Garden Glade piece, yummy. The color changes are fabulous. The punchneedle piece is so pretty and the stockings are wonderful. I need to get back to mine.

I am anxiously waiting on your next framing party post :-). I am so sorry I missed you at the retreat. I was so looking forward to meeting you and Joan and seeing Cathy again.

Where do I start? The stockings! The Garden Glade-to-be! Molly (and I agree about the cat)! Bella's mitten. You are a multifaceted crafter extraordinaire and ALL your projects are drool-worthy.

What a post Cari ! WHEW - I'm breakin into a sweat here over all the gorgeous stuff you have shown us - You've been one busy chickie since you got home from Utah. Don't you just adore the bluegrass linen Jean picked out for Garden Glade - I am just enchanted with mine - It's coming along and I ordered the NPI silks but am adding in a few BS and Gloriana colors choices of my own. I normally NEVER do that but why not! I'm loving your stockings and the knitted fancy mitt - you are one talented knitter Cari ! Molly is darling - I ran across the two "girls" that I had on hand not long ago - they are sweet charts. and when can I find time to start AAWFAA??????? Take care Mel
