Yummy Lunch and Stitch

Oh boy....look at this pizza.  It tasted just as good as it was pretty to look at.  I took a note from Kim's blog and roasted up some grape tomatoes and garlic this morning.  Added mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, a quick 10 minutes in the oven and mmmmmmmm....

June Morning:  These pics show my progress but the camera flash is washing out the beautiful colors of Belle Soie.  I should photograph this outside, but it's too dang hot!  I've moved on from being so rigid in my color section of floss of light, medium or dark, and just kind of go with the light side....or my personal favorite....the dark side...  The Belle Soie colors are so very rich and I love the feel and look of the silk.  Enjoy!!

OMG! Your WIP is just gorgeous! If the colors are washed out, they must be even more spectacular IRL! I'm so loving seeing your progress with this one! And that pizza - yum!

Wow, those colors are so worth it! I didn't think I'd want to stitch with the BS, but now I've completely changed my mind. And the pizza looks delish.

June Morning is just beautiful and I can't see that the colors are washed out at all!

One shouldn't show pizza to a person that is hungry! Now I have to go find something good to eat!

I love the colors on the dark fabric. I have stitched on dark before and love the results, although I think it's harder. The pizza looks so yummy!! All this tomatoe and garlic roasting is making me want to try it...saw it on Kim's blog too.
