Look What I Did !!

Earth Gatherer

While I was trying to decide what piece to stitch (along with what you've all ready seen in a previous post) I came across this one by Shepherd's Bush.

Don't ask me how long it took...I have no idea. It's been a work in progress for years. It does have frequent flyer miles though, it's been back and forth to Utah many, many times. Even when all the cross stitch was completed, the backstitching, beading and adding the charms took a fair amount of time. It was worth it though -- a treasure for sure. I suppose I should seriously consider starting the Wool Gatherer and the Herb Gatherer. They are both sitting right in front of me waiting for needle and thread. Instead of a sampler wall, I think I'll have a Shepherd's Bush wall!

Here's a close up of the girl....

And here's a close up of the boy..

You must be tickled pink to have it finished! I did this one a few years ago and it hangs over the guest room bed. It's one of my favorite pieces by SB even though it seemed to take forever. Will you get the matts that go along with this? I'm doing a happy dance for you. This is a great finish!!!

It looks great, Cari! Way to go! I always so love looking at stitched SB pieces! I've only ever stitched one thing of theirs. I'm not sure why because I do like them when I see someone's project finished! Anyhoooo....don't mean to ramble! ;o) It's lovely! Congrats!

Cari, that is such a cute finish and I agree, you should have a Shepards Bush wall!

B-E-A-Utiful, Cari! I love it. I love the gatherers. I have Wool Gatherer busy gathering dust in my rubbermaid bin. I really should pull it out & finish it. SBs are sooo pretty!
