Unseasonably warm weather in Florida; morning low temp 81; afternoon high 94; feels like 110; air visibly humid; A/C is a good thing when knitting; cashmere is soft; cashmere and mohair is softer; this hat will keep my granddaughter Corinne's head very warm this winter in Chicago!!

Bring on the heat Cari! It's hot and humid here too but I love it. I'm sick, I know.
Nice hat, I'm sure she will love it!
What a lovely hat! Know it will be much appreciated!
What a great hat!!! I love it! As for the heat and humidity -- Bleagh!!!! I hate heat and humidity! And I know it's seriously bad down there -- got a report from my FIL who lives in FL. Stay in the AC -- that's my policy!
I'm just thankful you haven't finished Finch Song! LOL!
I know for a fact, Mam'...that is a fabulous hat! I think you've been watching too much NCIS...
Stay cool! XOXO, Queen Sister
Very cute hat - it will definitely be well used in the Chicago winter. Thank goodness for air, right? We're having the same weather up here in Michigan - heat index 105 - good time to just sit in the air and stitch!
I could use one of those in Michigan! Not now, of course but in the winter.... she'll love it!
The hat is adorable! Great job, Cari!
We are having unseasonably warm temperatures here, too, and sunshine!! Thankfully it's only in the mid 70s... no AC anywhere! Stay cool and get some stitching time in!
Stay cool and do lots of stitching...That's doctors orders
Love the Hat--Corinne is one lucky girl
